Dodd City ISD is located in the small bedroom community of Fannin County, Texas approximately an hour and a half northeast of Dallas. Our town was originally part of Red River County, named for the Red River that runs close to our border. We not only have a town rich in history and tradition but also one that is extremely supportive of education.

Fannin County is also home to the Caddo-LBJ National Grasslands, a 17,000 acre protected grassland. Many native animals such as white-tailed deer, coyotes, bobcats, red fox, quail, and turkey roam freely in this beautiful national park. Visitors may also use this area for camping, hiking, and picnicking.

We know you’ll love our town, our county, and our school. We’d love to show you around our campuses. Give us a call, or stop by our offices to say hello.
